  • ***** Congratulations Aaron *****
  • Congratulations to Aaron Clapham for his selection in the NZ Football FIFA World Cup squad for South Africa in early June 2010. As well, Aaron won the Player of the Year in the NZ Football Championship while playing for Canterbury United.
  • Aaron is an ex-Burwood player, having played at the club in his formative years (from 3 to 13 years). His Mum and Dad (Angie and Ray) were strong members of the club in both coaching and at Committee level. Angie and Ray were the initiators of our Midgets section - Aaron and his sister Sara (as well a NZ Women's player) were some of the first players in the Midgets.
  • Well done Aaron, all that hard work over the years has paid off.
  • Sport Canterbury ClubMark Bronze Award
  • Burwood has achieved the ClubMark Bronze award recognising the processes and systems that are in place to run the club successfully. This accreditation is performed by Sport Canterbury and many thanks to Ian Smith for coordinating this effort.
  • ClubMark is all about helping clubs to grow, to be better organised and to assist volunteers with the valuable work done for the benefit of the club. ClubMark assists administrators to set up processes and systems that will help to ensure proper procedures are in place for future office bearers.
  • 2009 Annual General Meeting
